Garware Polyester Ltd. (the Company) was co-promoted by the Chairman and Managing Director Mr. S.B. Garware in the year 1957 along with the Founder Chairman Late Dr. Bhalchandra (Abasaheb) Garware.

The Company has developed in-house Technology for Polyester Films in India and put its first State-of-the-Art plant to manufacture Polyester Films in the year 1976 at Aurangabad in Maharashtra State, India which was the first plant of its kind in South-East Asia.

The Company manufactures Polyester Films for a variety of Industrial applications and also for making world class solar window films for automobile and architectural applications. Simply put, that means Garware Suncontrol films are manufactured in a state-of-the-art, ISO-9001:2008 certified facility that makes just about everything that goes into their window films, from the base petrochemical intermediate right down to the finished products.

This eliminates dependency on other manufacturers enabling complete control over the entire manufacturing process—from polymers to packaged goods. That’s important because it ensures high quality and ultimately, total consumer satisfaction.

Garware Polyester Limited has a sophisticated and state-of-the art window film production and lamination lines with a finished product capacity of 22 million sq.ft.
